Engineering Leader - UPS - Design Modern Digital Control - Automation Firm

Job Description: The Engineer will lead in developing our next generation of 3 PH, medium to large power UPS, with modern digital control and high efficiency architecture

Design requirements include EMI filtering, PFC, standby/housekeeping supplies, DC/DC conversion, and controls/communications.

The engineer will have the design responsibility as well as support team from design concept to production. This is a hands-on design role . Candidate must be a self starter with the ability to work with changing customer and product spec. Should be able to work with the team through the established Product Realization Process

Skills/Abilities: Good knowledge of power electronics topologies (DC/DC, Inverters and 3 Ph Converters, UPS ) magnetics design, switching and energy storage components, control theory are essential.

- Considerable experience in UPS topologies suitable for 200 to 500 KVA 3PH UPS.

- Should have delivered full product with design responsibility.

- As a Lead design engineer, the candidate must have the desire and ability to work as good technical member. Strong technical leadership skills are required to lead technical team and mentor junior engineers.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: BE/ME/ M Tech /PhD in Electrical /Electronic Engineering (or equivalent or better) and 7 to 15 years experience in design.

Travel: international travel may be required to support customers as well as manufacturing operations and to get exposure at our head quarters.
