Engineering Leader(Linux, c++)

Gauge progress of various projects
-
- Build and Lead multiple teams of 8 to 10 top notch engineers to own, drive & deliver critical parts of our products.

- Work closely with Technical Architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.

- Oversee Architecture & design of technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions.

- Architecting and engineering solutions which can meet the requirement of unknown customer buying off the shelf products

- Prepares the technical design of the more complex technology components within the module.

- Drives the performance tuning, re-design and re-factoring for a module.

- Contributes to designing and implementing the build, release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application.

- Propose budgets for various projects

- Create reports to give updates on projects

- Train new employees

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of relevant. Experience in leading Software Engineering Teams

- Great analytical and math skills

- Incredible problem solving abilities

- Ability to collaborate with many other teams

- Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product

- Master's in engineering preferred

- Interpersonal skills to manage a team on engineers/ Architects

- Ability to give constructive criticism

- Ability to make decisions quickly

- Ability to present the Engineering project Schedules, WBS, RBS etc

- Prior experience of client facing role is desirable

- Knowledge of IP Networking is a plus
