Engineering Lead - Manufacturing Excellence - Retail/FMCG/Consumer Durable (10-14 yrs)

This position will report to the M.E. Regional Director and, as an Individual Contributor, will:

- Bring business impact to Organization through identifying, clarifying and quantifying the best way to operate in Apparel & Accessories (A&A), and Home & Hardlines (H&H) manufacturing value chains

- Initiate, lead, coordinate, facilitate and drive M.E. engagements/projects in the India sub-continent region COPs (Countries of Production) to improve product costs, in a given period of time by:

- Researching and identifying business needs, building a quantifiable business case;

- Validating root causes, provide development insights and facilitating the implementation of future state action plans

- Developing and delivering scalable, sustainable solutions to meet stakeholders- expectations;

- Working with internal Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to work out a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of the solution

- Working out how to scale up and maintain the solution

- Engaging and cultivating changes with vendors and factories in the manufacturing environment through training factory teams to be able to repeat events, reproduce results, sustain and scale improvements

- Calculating and delivering actualized savings and benefits based on factory operational performance improvements

- Be able to operate independently of direct Leader once engagements/projects are in process

- Communicate and collaborate with local Sourcing, PSQA, RS Teams and Vendor and Factory business partners to ensure delivery of engagement/project outcomes

- Develop and deliver learning and development tools for factory elevation ensuring understanding of tools, techniques and methods including product and process improvement methodologies, for example, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

- Support factory Kaizen events

- Review and update ME Operating Models to ensure maximum ROI from engagements/projects
