Job Description :

- The role is that of the Head of Engineering to lead and grow the entire Product Engineering setup in India. Looking for a seasoned technology professional with over 18 years of experience with significant experience in building large teams and products from scratch. Tech: Microservices, Java, Angular, Mobile technologies etc.

Client Details :

- Our client is a well-known Multinational in the Telecom industry, exhibiting high growth in international markets. They are setting up a Development Centre in Gurgaon supporting global operations.

Description :

- Overseeing various aspects of the company's engineering product development activities and drive roadmap delivery

- Structuring and operations of the product development engineering function as a cohesive unit

- Leading a team of 150+ engineering professionals

- Conceptualizing and day-to-day management of simultaneous projects

- Working cooperatively across all levels and business groups of the organization

- Delivering quality designs to agreed specifications within time and budget constraints, and

- Fostering of innovative solutions to customer needs.

Profile :

- B.E/B.Tech or MS in Computer Science from a top tier institute

- 18+ years of experience with exposure of setting up and managing a Software Development Centre in a leadership position

- In depth understanding of technology and the tech stack - AWS, Microservices, Java, Angular, iOS, android etc. and devops tools such as Jenkins is a must

- Experience solving business issues with technology is a must have requirement

- Prior experience in building teams from scratch

- Ability to manage vendors would also be beneficial
