Roles and Responsibilities :
- As a Senior Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment
- Own the technical architecture, drive engineering design and shoulder critical decisions
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the objectives of the re-architect program and organizational objectives.
- Own the technical architecture, drive engineering design and shoulder critical decisions
- Participate in product envisioning discussions and provide inputs from development perspective which will help in shaping up overall product strategy.
- Prepare product (major or minor) release plan based on overall estimation and cross functional dependencies
- Work with product managers, engineering leads, QA and deliver long term solutions.
- Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
- Ensure program adheres to legal guidelines and internal policies
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reporting
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Engineering Manager with strong experience in managing bfs product development
- Proven leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage simultaneous deliverables and meet deadlines
- Excellent understanding of Mutual Fund/Banking/Insurance Market
- Deep understanding of Project Management using Agile and/or water-fall methodologies
- Experience in building high performance applications with Consistency, Availability, & Performance requirements taken care of
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, & Cost Management
Experience in delivering solutions in latest technology :
- Front-end technologies like Angular/React
- Back-end program languages Java/Python
- EDA (Event Driven Architecture)
- Micro Services
- Databases (Relational, NoSQL, inMemory)
- Analytical tools
- Hands-on Experience in transformational programs wherein a legacy system is being re-architected in parallel to current running system
- Building and nurturing high performance teams
- Stake holder management to balance the conflicting needs based on cost benefit analysis
