Head of Engineering - Financial Technology ( Fintech ) firm


Our Client is a FinTech firm - with exceptional Background and Funding

This is a role that will report to the Group CTO

Industry- Fintech - includes Insurance, Loan - Individual as well as business/ MSME loans

The role requires the following : 

- Work with business leaders and Product managers to understand the product and its users

- Technology Architecture

- Build and manage a crack product Engineering team

- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time help architect & design technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions

- Perform well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in the rapidly evolving organization

- Create a culture of Learning and Knowledge Management in the Engineering Team

- Identify leaders and groom them

What do we need in the person : 

- We need a person who has lead an engineering team in a PRODUCT environment

- Fintech/ BFSI experience is essential

- Ideally atleast 10 years experience with an engineering degree

- Anchored Product Engineering independently

- Anchored a team of atleast 15 high caliber engineers

- We need someone who is hands on- i.e. a person who looks forward to coding himself or hersel or does it just to keep in touch

- Passionate about technology- you should be dreaming how it can be leveraged to service customer needs
