Engagement Manager - Auto & Engineering Practice - IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS/NITIE (7-12 yrs)

Position: Engagement Manager - Auto and Engineering Practice

Location: Mumbai

Qualifications:

Mechanical / Production Engineering graduate with an MBA from a premier institution with a strong academic background. Premier institutes would include IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, IIM L, IIM I, XLRI, FMS, NITIE (only PGDIM course), JBIMS, SPJIMR. Candidate must have a good academic track record.

Experience:

7 - 8 years (2010 - 2009) of post MBA experience which should be should be in either of the following or a combination thereof:

1. (Preferable) Experience of leading execution of operations improvement assignments (including solution development and implementation / benefit realisation) and also strategy assignments in the Indian automotive sector in a reputed management consulting firm

2. (Less preferable) Experience of corporate strategy / corporate planning / business excellence in a leading automotive company with first-hand experience of implementation of business improvements and managing change

Experience of leading a team of 2 to 3 would be an added advantage.

Required Skills

1. Strong and up-to-date understanding of automotive industry domain

2. Good understanding of operational improvement methodologies

3. Outstanding spoken and written communication and articulation skills in English

4. Good understanding of financial modeling

Role:

As an Engagement Manager, the incumbent would be required to carry out the following:

1. Lead client engagements and project teams with minimal supervision from a Practice Head

2. Deliver independent modules of a project by conceptualization, data collection and analysis

3. Support business development and knowledge generation initiatives

4. Collaborate and participate in Organization level initiatives
