Endiya's investment strategy is intended to address a funding gap in the venture capital spectrum in India between angel and Series A investments, whereby entrepreneurs will be able to find a reliable source of funding to further the development of their disruptive technologies, cueing them up for Series A and further follow-on rounds of funding.

The Role :

VP Investments is a senior role and the incumbent will be a part of the core Investment team who will work closely with Partners on Healthcare & Life Sciences deals. The incumbent will support/lead all aspects of sourcing, investment, portfolio management & fund operations.

Position Details :

- Deal Sourcing and Recommending Investment Opportunities : By meeting entrepreneurs, attending events and developing industry relationships

- Industry/Market Research : Leading the various thought leadership and research assignments to develop and refine investment thesis and strategy

- Deal Diligence & Execution : Leading the diligence efforts and transaction execution/documentation process, preparing investment memos, building financial models, making reference calls, and mapping industries

- Portfolio Work and Execution : Supporting partners in their work with portfolio companies and getting operationally involved with portfolio companies

- Fund Level Work : Preparing for annual/ quarterly meetings, developing presentation materials for corporate development, and managing data for internal review processes

Requirements : Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to rapidly understand and evaluate markets, companies, and technologies.

- Post-Graduate from Tier 1 college in India or abroad

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in an investment firm or high intensity Corporate M&A set up

- Demonstrable track record of success in senior leadership roles in investing and operating capacities

- Deep domain understanding of Healthcare & Lifesciences industries/markets with excellent rolodex

- Exposure to entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fast growth companies

- Self-driven with a knack to work in small team, exceptionally personable, intellectually fierce, and task oriented
