Employee Relations Leader - Engineering/Manufacturing Industry (13-16 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Leader. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing employee relations, labor laws, compliance management, and a strong background in the engineering/manufacturing industry. This role involves handling complex labor issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and regular travel to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, promoting a positive workplace culture.

- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts promptly and effectively.

- Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Labor Laws and Compliance:

- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends.

- Ensure company compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

- Develop and maintain company policies and procedures in line with labor laws.

Site Visits:

- Regularly visit different company sites to assess and manage employee relations and compliance.

- Collaborate with site managers and HR teams to address site-specific issues.

Conflict Resolution:

- Mediate and resolve employee disputes and conflicts in a fair and impartial manner.

- Provide guidance to management on handling complex employee relations issues.

Policy Development:

- Work with HR Operations Manager to develop and update HR policies and procedures.

- Ensure policies are consistent with labor laws and industry standards.

Training and Development:

- Conduct training sessions for employees and management on labor laws, compliance, and best practices.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.

- 13-16 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and labor laws.

- Thorough knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

- Willingness to travel to various company sites as needed
