Employee Relations Consultant - BFS

Purpose - ER Consultant will provide expert employee relations advice intended to ensure participants are treated fairly, lawfully and in line with Company's policies and Values, while ensuring regulatory compliance and the risk to the bank is mitigated.

Role Description:

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a senior position in the Employee Relations Asia, Europe and America (ER AEA) team, reporting the Team Lead & Senior Corporate Lawyer. The ER AEA team is part of the Working Well Tribe within the Talent & Culture function.

The role will include:

1. Managing complex employee relations matters independently, including misconduct investigations and disciplinary matters across Asia, Europe and America, particularly in India

2. Providing expert employee relations advice on employment regulatory matters across Asia, Europe and America, particularly in India

3. Providing expert employee relations advice on a range of people related matters across Asia, Europe and America, particularly in India

4. Leading and managing various Working Well, Employee Relations and Talent & Culture initiatives

5. Coaching, mentoring and supervising other members of the ER AEA team, including the ER First Responders, who are the 'front line' for all employee relations matters at the Company

6. Building knowledge and capability within the ER AEA team

The successful applicant will also be required to successfully manage day-to-day relationships with various senior stakeholders across a number of company locations, work collaboratively and effectively as part of a multi-geography team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at building line manager capability, confidence and awareness in dealing with people-related matters.
