Job Description : Position title: Branch Manager Department: Retail Location: Bangalore (Jayanagar) Organizational Relationships - Reports to: Regional Head / Area Head - Supervises: Branch employees - Coordinates with: Branch Managers, Regional Head - Functional relationship with: Branches & Franchisees, Head Office, Operations team Qualification : - Essential: Graduate in any stream - NCFM certification - Equity and Derivatives - NSE Cash and Derivatives - Desired: Post Graduate / MBA Experience : - Relevant: 3+ years as Branch Manager / 5+ years in banking / broking industry - Total: 5+ years in financial services / broking industry Skills : - Should have leadership skills and be a good team manager - Should possess a good aptitude - Should be able to drive the business - Should know the broking business - Should have excellent communication skills - written and verbal - Should have job knowledge - risk management - Business acumen, Entrepreneurial knowledge, Risk taking ability Job Responsibilities : Branches : - Responsible for P&L of the branch & for generation of revenue - Ensure new client acquisition - Advise and help branches in generating new leads for development of sub brokers / franchisees - Coordinate and handle the day-to-day branch operations - Interact with the customers to ensure a committed and partnership based relationship - Establish and support new branches in co-ordination with the Regional Manager and Vice President - Help the branch in terms of recruitment, train the branch staff to manage them, to meet targets and restructure the non performing branch - Resolve branch issues Franchisees - - Source, identify and establish new franchisees in co-ordination with branch managers - Plan & enforce week end meetings with franchises to generate business - Help in documentation and resolving franchisee problems
