Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail- oriented Buy- Side Investment Analyst to support investment decision- making across private equity and public markets. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, deep industry research capabilities, and the ability to assess investment opportunities across different asset classes. Candidates with prior experience in stock broking or a strong network in public companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Private Equity Investments:

- Source, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on private companies.

- Analyze financial statements, business models, and industry trends.

- Develop valuation models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions).

- Monitor portfolio companies and support value creation initiatives.

Public Market Investments:

- Conduct fundamental research on listed equities, sectors, and macroeconomic trends.

- Track market developments and identify potential investment opportunities.

- Build and maintain financial models to support investment theses.

- Assist in portfolio allocation and risk management strategies.

- Leverage industry relationships to generate proprietary investment ideas.

General Responsibilities:

- Source investment opportunities across both private and public markets through industry networks, brokers, and direct company outreach.

- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal discussions.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes.

- Collaborate with external advisors, bankers, and portfolio company management teams.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CA/ CFA preferred).

- 2- 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, equity research, asset management, or stock broking.

- Strong network within public markets and experience in deal sourcing is a plus.

- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and communicate investment insights effectively.

- High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
