HEAD OF SEO

THE JOB :

This Role is for someone with extensive experience in scaling and managing large websites and mobile apps. You will be responsible for the overall business SEO strategy and for taking initiatives for driving traffic. We are looking for a firefighter, a thought leader and a project manager who is always on toes and gets excited about numbers and traffic.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Plan, Action and Deliver quarterly/yearly SEO performance targets and ensure all content and agreed traffic numbers are met as per agreed AOP committed to the business

- Determine and action strategic targets for content campaigns to drive business growth

- Responsible and accountable for the performance of the content optimized through SEO initiatives

- Maintain high search rankings and promoting organic visits over the competition

- Upskill the SEO and content team to be self-reliant and efficient

- Conduct relevant SEO research on the business's content and take a data-driven execution approach

- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities in the business's sites, blogs, and pages and ensure that they are optimized to drive higher rankings

- Conduct SEO audits, developing SEO strategy, and even sometimes engages in the measurement of the effectiveness of PPC activity by applying relevant monitoring tools

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE :

- Must have a proven and successful track record of 7-9+ years in designing and delivering SEO plans and strategies in fast-paced business environments

- Proficiency in HTML, Java-script, AJAX CSS, Flash, React SEO and Wordpress

- Ability to multitask. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leads

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
