Position Description: (- AGM - Legal- ) will be based in Delhi

Key Responsibilities of the Role

- Overseeing the functioning of the entire legal department

- Spearheading the negotiations with prospective lessees on behalf of the company including reviewing, and finalizing lease and leave agreements, lease and license contracts, Letter of Intent, MoUs

- Shall be responsible for the overall functions of viz., drafting of various Agreements, Sale Deeds, Supplementary Deeds, Lease Deeds(Commercial and Residential), Partnership Deeds, Addendums, Scrutiny of Various Joint Venture Agreements, Power of Attorneys, purchase, sale, leases, Hire, tenancy agreements, Bonds, Guarantee, easements, license agreements etc.,

- To provide legal advice & support to internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives, providing responses to various requests for proposal and to work closely with key contacts

- Discuss and suggest the proper course of action considering the legal risk involved in the issues

- Coordinate with Lawyers and Law firms

- Coordinate and resolve the legal issues pertaining to Land acquisition, ROW, extend supports to other depts

Key Skills, Experience and Background :

- Should have an overall experience 8-10 and worked extensively across fields of documentation, due diligence, drafting, negotiations.

- Should have also worked in a reputed real estate company for a minimum of 6-7 years.

- Should have good exposure to the corporate legal functions and contract administration.

- The candidate should have the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together

- Well versed and conversant with the provisions of Partnership Firm, Companies Act, LLP, statutory norms affecting commercial leasing, IT parks, lands etc..

- Should be proficient in drafting of all kinds of Deeds, Notices, Agreements, Plaint, IA- s, Written Statement, Memorandums, pleadings, Citation Work, Land Registration, Land Acquisition, Scrutiny of Land Records, Title Deeds, Khathas, O & M Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Contract and Sub - Contract, NDA, LOI, rejoinders, Suits and consultant Agreements etc.,

- Should have Profound knowledge of the related field viz., Property, Consumer, arbitration, N.I. Act, Commercial, Contracts, Agreements, Legal Due Diligence, Legal Audit and Scrutiny, Registration, Liaison, Litigation, non Litigationetc.,

- Should have effective skills to coordinate with outside counsels handling, litigations, Arbitrations and contract management etc.,

- Should have Effective management skills with acumen to handle various queries raised by the clients connected to the various development projects of the company.

- Ability to effectively liaise and coordinate with all departments and authorities internally and externally.

- Ability to work in team and interact across all level of staff and management.

Performance and personal competencies include :

- Should have organizing abilities and planning skills.

- Should have very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Kannada language.

- Should have the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Educational Requirements:

- LLB/LLM from an recognised university.

- Proficient in MS Office - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point etc.,
