About this Position :
The primary responsibility will be to acquire new clients and identify new sources of revenue. An ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. The candidate should have a very good understanding of how technology and analytics can be leveraged to improve and optimize Logistics & Supply Chain Processes of an organisation.
While this position is about generating business, a good candidate will be the one who has consultative and problem solving approach in order to convert a prospect to a customer. Our target audience will be supply chain practitioners and technology heads of manufacturing and trading companies across sectors, 3PL companies and fleet owners
Key responsibilities :
- Achieve and surpass business and revenue targets
- Identify prospects, follow-up and setup meetings and perform demos of our solutions and close the deal
- Understand the logistics & supply chain processes of an organisation, identify the problem areas or areas which can be further optimized and sell our solutions in process
- Participate in various events and conferences focusing on logistics & supply chain, network and generate leads
- Generate and execute digital marketing strategy with our partner agency
- Gather the requirements of a customer and create functional requirement documents so that the technical team can develop the system
Expected Skills and Competencies :
- Having a very good understanding of logistics & supply chain functions of an organisation a must
- Experience in technology sales/presales preferred
- Keen understanding of technology
- Experience in working/dealing with logistics/supply chain roles in manufacturing organisations is desired
- Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
- MBA with majors in sales/marketing/operations will add further value
- Ability to create content for digital media like Linkedin posts/blogs/newsletters will be a definite advantage
CTC : 12L to 18L-
- No limit to upper cap, which means appealing incentives
