Job Title: Product Manager
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate with relevant product development experience
Experience: 3-7 years
Job description:
At a high level, the Product manager will be responsible for the strategy planning, creation of roadmap, and feature definition for the line of products.
- Expert on products' services, inclusions, market, pricing.
- Review and advice on marketing copy, product instructional information, sales and customer service training materials.
- Provide guidance to the HIPAA compliance product development team as a subject matter expert of HIPAA.
- Work closely with web development team and oversee project management for new product development.
- Answer customers and sales technical and product queries.
- Develop program for certifications, security and other services.
- Manage the value delivered via HIPAA compliance products to ensure members are delighted with the benefits and services they receive.
- Understand the factors that drive individuals to become and remain customers of our HIPAA Institute products.
- Cultivate the key sources of benefits to compliance product customers to ensure strong retention and growth.
- Demonstrate the online products, explain their key benefits and uniqueness
- Work closely with sales team, marketing team, and distribution partners to bring HIPAA compliance products to market.
- Advise cross functional team on best sales methods and price points based on understanding of market and audience.
- Recommend and advise cross functional team on product improvements, enhancements and new releases.
Key Skills Needed
- Knowledge and experience in the US healthcare industry
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex regulatory concepts in simple, concise language to people who have no compliance knowledge.
- Collaborative team player able to work with globally located team
- Proactive ability to create and implement services and procedures from concept to execution
- Creativity to expand and improve digital products and onsite services
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation, including technical writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skill and customer centric
- Strong product management experience - particularly managing workflow process software solutions or similar services targeted to US healthcare industry
- Understanding of software development concepts
- Minimum 3 years of product as a service development experience
- Experience serving a large and diverse constituency or stakeholder group
- Capability of acquiring and analyzing complex statistical data to measure and improve the performance of programs/services
- Ability to be decisive even when confronted with limited information and to adapt to feedback and a dynamic market environment
- Proficiency in defining and managing a set of goals involving diverse contributors with differing business objectives
- Possess an innovative spirit and demonstrate vision and strong leadership skills
- Familiarity using Agile User Story Management tools or any other standard product development methodology.
Additional Requirements:
- Need to assist health care organizations in the development of "best practices" for safeguarding ePHI.
- Should have understanding of Implementation, Management and Enforcement of information privacy and security directives as mandated HIPAA and HITECH.
- Should be aware of inputs to implement a HIPAA compliance/privacy program for small and mid-sized organizations/practices.
- Assess client environment and advice on issues of Corporate Compliance, Risk, and Privacy/Security compliance.
- Creating/Validating Compliance products, policies and procedures, plans and trainings.
- Identify and/or evaluate complex risks, internal controls and the mitigation action.
- Conduct HIPAA Privacy, Security and Breach Risk Assessments and facilitate remediation efforts.
- Administers Corporate Compliance Plan, training and oversight of OIG Work Plan audit activities.
- Should be aware of Risk Analysis and Management methodologies.
- Conduct HIPAA Risk Assessments and facilitate remediation efforts.
- Monitor and analyze new legal requirements or developments as it applies to HIPAA and all related rules to educate the HIPAA Institute product Development team, to develop a more competitive product.
- Identify opportunities at healthcare practices to improve engagement and increase HIPAA Institute's profitability.
- Share expertise to help make decisions on topics like strategy and scope for future growth of HIPAA Institute.
- Should be certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security.
- The candidate should have the ability to create and assess compliance programs based on various best practices and industry frameworks such as ISO 27000 series, SSAE-16 (SOC 1, SOC 2), GAPP, and NIST 800 series.
- It will be an added advantage if the candidate has worked on technical projects like web application architecture, security and privacy monitoring.
