Job Summary:

Head of Financial Planning & Analysis: The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for building 5- year forecasts model for all businesses including, balance sheet, cash flows and income statement models with focus on various operating metrics. The candidate will also work on a detailed monthly business analysis of all business entities of the group.

Primary responsibilities:

a. Financial Analysis

a. Provide comprehensive analysis from a financial stand-point

b. Apply appropriate analytical techniques across a broad range of topics

b. Financial modeling

a. Responsible for the ownership, management and development of detailed forecasting models

b. Produce consolidated and business wife long-term forecasts on a periodic basis encompassing cash flow, balance sheet and returns covering the underlying businesses

c. Participation in automation and reporting improvement initiatives

c. Reporting

a. Quarterly capital and balance sheet reporting to relevant stakeholders Chairman/Committee/Group CFO

b. Development of regular reporting output to key stakeholders

c. Group stress-testing reporting and analysis

d. Improve Financial Forecast

a. Implement strong process to deliver high level of accuracy on revenue and margin forecasts by month, thereby creating predictability on business decisions.

e. Own the production of high-quality management reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis for various business entities to facilitate timely strategic decision making by key stakeholders

f. Lead all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for all business groups of the company

g. Responsible for the global annual operating plan/budgeting process for the group. Timely completion by end of November every year

h. Effectively manage and co-ordinate the timely submission of monthly rolling forecasts to Corporate for various functions within required deadlines working with all key stakeholders within the Corporate and the wider business finance group, to ensure Corporate mandates/guidance are followed.

i. Complete various Executive level reporting packs for the overall group

j. Develop strong working relationships with relevant business heads and key internal stakeholder groups

k. Oversee detailed analytical reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis for various business groups on expense variance drivers in an effort to provide greater transparency into reported numbers both for the CFO as well as the business heads

l. Manage, coach and develop team members in all aspects of their roles;

m. Manage, coordinate and review work of direct reports ensuring the appropriate prioritization to meet the wider team deliverables;

n. Develop and maintain business knowledge to best support business leads in a finance business partner capacity;

o. Support ad-hoc reporting requirements and initiatives as required by both Finance and Executive Management.

- Detail-oriented but able to quickly grasp the big picture

- Extremely proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Professional Qualification and experience:

- Chartered accountant (CA)/MBA from a premier institute with 8-15 years of relevant experience specifically in FP&A.

- Knowledge of various FP&A tools is added advantage

- Should have worked with companies/firms with global presence
