Financial Controller Skills and Qualifications:

Strong English language verbal and written skills, Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field; several years of experience in a business or finance environment; management experience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; high attention to detail; organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; computer skills; understanding of data privacy standards.

- Perform responsibilities in compliance with US GAAP

- Work in multiple currencies and perform conversions

- Oversee all company accounts

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Respond to all requests from parent company (EG) in timely manner

- Prepare and send invoices to clients

- Reconcile invoices with sales recorded in CRM on monthly basis

- Reconcile balance sheet accounts

- Reconcile deferred revenue accounts

- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies

- Help identify results, trends, and financial forecasts

- Manage and report daily cash balances

- Identify and suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing

- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

- Collaborate with internal and external auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations

- Work with CEO and management to develop budgets and financial plans for the company

- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities

- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations

- Assist the VP Finance in presenting reports to senior executives

- Additional controller duties as necessary
