Position Summary

The Process Improvement Analyst facilitates the fostering of a continuous improvement culture. It will lead and facilitate technical and/or operational process improvement initiatives across the organization using process improvement methodologies, project management strategies, leadership, and change management skills to achieve outcome improvements.

Essential Functions

- Facilitate on-going quality inspection and audits of processes across multiple distribution centers.

- Facilitate process improvement & prioritization events and present findings with varying levels of employees and management.

- Act as liaison with department heads and lead for audits.

- Develop and maintain policy and procedure, process and tool documentation for department which meet department/company standards.

- Representing the business in reviews of process and systems controls, and the development of project schedules considering seasonal volume spikes, period close activities, etc.

- Actively participate in data validation activities prior to system conversions

- Readying the business team and impacted business partners for systems implementations through effective communications and end user training

- Provide regular project updates to management

- Attend appropriate meetings to stay abreast of other initiatives and process changes underway within the organization

- Miscellaneous or Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

- Departmental support including maintaining process documents, reports, SharePoint sites, etc.

Qualifications

- Masters degree in business, engineering or related field.

- 2-5 years relevant experience, 3 years experience business analysis and management with 2-3 years- experience developing and managing decision support tools, models, and reports.

- Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, SharePoint. Advanced MS Word skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodology; 6S, Visual Mgmt, VSM, Kaizen, etc.

- Developing Quality Management Systems and corresponding control documents including Policies, Procedures and Standard Work preferred.

- Developing training material and document control methodologies.

- Project Management experience.
