Roles and responsibilities :
- Compliance to internal risk management and documentation.
- Project planning, resource requirement analysis, scheduling, team meetings.
- Day to day management of accounting and finance operations.
- Maintaining statutory books of accounts and ensuring that the accounting policies & practices of the organization are followed in compliance with norms.
- Preparation of Assets reports as per the management's requirements on different portfolios.
- Carrying out performance review of each class of asset held within the portfolio over the period under review.
- Carrying out the review of the investment advisor's recommendations provided over the period under review and ultimate performance review.
- Prepare the investment outlook and recommend the investment strategy for the next period including changes to the investment parameters and guidelines.
- Supporting the team during project execution, reviewing the report and providing valuable inputs.
- Carrying out reviews independently to discuss the issues in the reporting parameters with process owners, taking management response and effectively closing loop in the reporting parameters with the management.
- Should have excellent communication skills.
- Should be able to monitor execution on multiple engagements and individually contribute towards the achievements of the team goals.
- Shall be required to monitor and strictly ensure timely completion of reports and submission of quality deliverables/reports within planned time.
- Should be willing to take up higher responsibility as per the work requirement.
- Assist in the various compliance with SEC and other regulatory bodies in US and Malta.
- Must demonstrate personal accountability in ensuring all tasks and activities are carried out on time and in accordance with legal and management requirements.
Experience and education qualifications :
- CA/MBA with 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in preparation of reports, analysis, portfolio review and Compliance.
- Prior experience in Statutory Reporting and Accounting.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and insurance terminology.
- Have knowledge of financial instruments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications, must have good working knowledge of excel.
- Strong professional and inter personal skills.
- Worked with senior management.
