Eka Software Solutions enables a cloud-based business analytics platform for commodity, consumer packaged goods and manufacturing companies with packaged apps to glean insights from their trading, risk, supply chain, processing and financial information to make informed decisions.

Are you passionate about creating innovative analytic products and platforms for Global 2000 customers? The Business Analyst is responsible for defining the Commodity Analytics Cloud application with the right business use cases and data tailored to the key target markets that we are selling into trading, producers, manufacturers and financial companies. Additionally, she/he will enable the applications to be positioned to prospects/customers in sales cycles and provide feedback from the market to drive the product direction.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

- 3 to 10+ years experience in the areas of business analysis, solution development, tailoring data to define analytic workflows and solve business problems - focus on trading and risk a definite plus.

- Ability to synthesize market needs by target segment or users, define use cases that solve analytic problems, and enable the right data to solve those use cases.

- Knowledge of the commodities business and derivatives (futures and options) would be an added advantage.

- Experience with relational databases and ability to write queries to extract, join and combine data from disparate sources.

- Experience with implementation of any business application at least at one customer location is desirable.
