EHS Head

1. Responsible in creating, maintaining and communicating safety related policies and procedures as well as ensuring that they are followed all India.

2. Monitoring readiness of firefighting equipment's at all times.

3. Monitoring periodic checks of fire inspections, getting fire extinguishers refilled and verification of first aid kits.

4. Monitoring all accidents or injuries reported and to ensure preventive measures are taken.

5. Monitoring of safety trainings & drills which are conducted.

6. Authorized to be on call 24/7 for emergency response.

7. Responsible to ensure there is zero tolerance for non-adherence to safety procedures.

8. Monitoring implementation and documentation of ISO processes.

9. Responsible for reporting product related complaint (s) to PISPL-QA & Principal Company-QA immediately / within one working day.

10. Monitoring maintenance of safe work places and to ensure no injuries.

11. Responsible to ensure that Health and Safety policy, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.

12. Responsible to ensure the company identifies and meets its legal and other applicable requirements.

13. Responsible to conduct meetings with EHS Executive's to understand OHS performance.

14. Responsible to ensure that all accidents / near misses/ Hazards / incidents are reported, documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.

15. Authorized to review and approve Emergency Preparedness Plan prepared for all

the sites.

16. Authorized to review and approve Risk assessment i.e. HIRA carried out considering routine and non-routine activities.

17. Authorized to liaise with external agencies for health and safety parameters.

18. Monitoring achievement of EHS Objectives.

19. Authorized to review and approve work instructions, forms and formats, checklists for OH and S management system.

20. Responsible to understand customer requirement related to EHS and communicate to the management.

21. Authorized to finalize selection and recruitment of EHS executives.

22. Authorized to support procurement team in selection of vendors / contractors / outsource agencies for EHS parameter.

23. Monitoring trainings conducted to increase awareness, knowledge and competency to improve OH and S performance.

24. Responsible to identify proper safety equipment required at all sites.

25. Motivate workers / employees / staff in consultation and participation to improve OH and S performance.

26. Authorized to coordinate with certifying body for OH and S management system for audits.

27. Authorize to report EHS performance to Top management and to customer where contractually agreed.

28. Authorized to stop unsafe work at all sites.

29. Authorized to review health and safety documents e.g. manual, procedures, work instruction for site.

30. Authorized to approve and sign Emergency plan, work instructions, Standard operating procedures.
