Title: Senior Research Analyst Experience: 5-8 years Location: Gurgaon, Sector 32 The Company Egon Zehnder Knowledge Center India (KCI)- KCI supports the global operations of EZ through research services, IT services and documentation. It was established in January 2005 and has a strength of 380+ employees across various teams. The Research team has 70+ Researchers who provide research support and knowledge management services to EZ's Offices and Practice Groups. Research Team - Researchers accompany a project from the beginning to the end, working very closely with international colleagues. Researchers see the whole context and are expected to contribute to discussions. Aligned by industry or functional practice group, researchers can leverage their industry/domain expertise. We offer international training and collaborate with colleagues globally. Key aspects of role in Research: 1. Business Development (act as a support channel in highlighting potential business opportunities to the practice group) - Proactively monitoring and tracking relevant market developments, tracking people moves, following critical company developments and disseminating the information in a targeted manner. - Proactively provide insights on industry trends and key companies - Act as a thought partner to Research &amp; Consulting colleagues, work on search strategy, bench marking candidates - Assisting or leading the development of marketing presentations for the practice group 2. Knowledge Management - Building repository of knowledge on the sector/industry, creating org charts, managing people moves and sector movements - Develop specialist knowledge into sector trends, compensation data and characteristics of the sector 3. Assignment Execution ( supporting consultant on live search mandates) - Collaborating with different teams across EZ offices on assignments, e.g., building target list of companies, identifying potential candidates for the assignment, assisting in market mapping and market analysis - Comprehensively searching internal and external resources to identify companies and markets to be targeted for relevant candidates - Generating client deliverables e.g. status reports, mapping reports, pitch packs, long lists, candidate profiles etc. Key Skills required for this role - - Highly effective interpersonal skills to facilitate frequent interaction with colleagues around the world and build effective, trust-based working relationships - Skilled in (multi-) project execution and understanding the objectives, defining goals and milestones, updating key stakeholders, and ensuring quality of output - Structured and systematic in approach - Confident and concise style; comfortable speaking with senior researchers and consultants - Drive for learning / intellectual curiosity; asks questions and seeks input from colleagues to build better products and learn from others Hiring for these practices in Research Team: 1.
