About Educate Girls:

- Educate Girls is holistically tackling issues at the root cause of gender inequality in India's education system. Their comprehensive model reforms government schools through community ownership and reaches up to 90% enrolment, higher attendance and improved learning outcomes for all girls.

- Founded in 2007, the non-governmental organization has a management and outreach office in Mumbai and operations in Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Ajmer, Bundi, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Jhalawar & Banswara in Rajasthan and Jhabua, Dhar, Alirajpur, Barwani in Madhya Pradesh. At this period, the organization is set to grow, and expand its reach of services beyond Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. As such, they have committed to launching interventions in multiple new geographies across India over the coming 3 years.

Key Responsibilities : 

1) Administration:

- Review & roll out the admin manual for EG.

- Improves program and service quality by devising new applications, updating procedures, evaluating system results with users.

- Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.

- Office administration, analyzing and reviewing of admin processes and set up at various offices.

- Drive initiatives to ensure admin compliance for all EG offices across India

- Support the organization in discharging responsibilities in the whole gamut of administrative areas ranging from policy compliance by employees to travel, accommodation, contract staff administration, inventory management, security and safety of assets as well as personnel and adherence to legal requirements.

- Interface & coordinate with the law, order and other Authorities/Govt. Offices. --Renewal of shop & Establishment licenses and Leave & License agreements for various locations.

- Invoice verification and processing for payment of utility services, electricity, telephone & courier bills.

- Accountable for asset management, inventory control and office equipment maintenance, couriers handling, guesthouse Management, renewal & closure of rent agreements for EG offices & guesthouses across EG locations.

- Evaluate schemes and facilities pertaining to travel and hotel bookings

2) Procurement:

- Responsible for roll out & implementation of Procurement Policy across EG offices Purchases printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements; negotiating price, quality, and delivery; approving invoices.

- Completes special / adhoc procurement & administration projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.

3) Cost Effectiveness:

- Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.

4) Vendor Management:

Vendor management and handling sourcing process right from vendor identification to finalizing purchase order and procurement of offices/ branches. Create a database of vendors for such procurement's and as much as possible get into contracts for long term requirements.

Must Haves : 

- You have at least 8 years of experience handling administration, procurement, vendor management at PAN India level.

- You have experience in building and optimizing processes focused on optimizing efficiency and cost.

- You have in-depth understanding of office management procedures, facility management and legal policies.

- You are tech-savvy with good knowledge of computer - Windows & Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

- You have good communication skills both verbal and written - English and Hindi.

Preferred : 

- You have experience handling administration in rural areas.

- You have prior experience in Non-profit organization.
