Educate Girls - Financial Analyst

About the Role :

As a Finance Analyst, you will be supporting the Director of Finance in financial modeling, strategizing, preparation of annual budgets, forecasting trends & implementing financial tools. You will play a critical role in setting the efficiency indicators for the finance strategy and making a comparative analysis of financial data. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports & comparison of budget v/s actual performance with variance analysis.

Key responsibilities :

- Performing Financial Business analysis.

- Combining the operations data and the bookkeeping data to make business sense for Educate Girls.

- Data forecasting, budgeting, and projections.

- Preparing functional monthly reports.

- Creating reports that the business needs for scaling.

- Presenting monthly and quarterly reports to the Board and Management.

Must-haves :

- You have the ability to analyze and build excel models from data from different functions - Finance and Operations (Eg. Cash flow forecasting, sustainability, and efficiency - cost indicators)

- You have the ability to draw actionable inference and decision making points.

- You have the ability to present analysis to the management and other stakeholders (proficient at creating powerpoint presentations).

- You are proficient in written and verbal communication in English.

Preference :

- You have an understanding of General Finance (Financial ratios).

- You are an MBA in Finance.
