Role & Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the role is to serve as a senior point of contact with prospective customers to negotiate & close/ achieve business deals. The selected candidate will qualify and demonstrate solution-selling skills in order to convert prospects into actual clients.
The ideal candidate for this position should be strategic in approach, motivated to succeed with excellent communication skills, excellent team management skills and expertise in following :
- Lead expansion for existing and new territories in the assigned geography.
- Manage direct sales teams for several product lines.
- Strength in selling Distribution technology in the international market.
- Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload across the team.
- Ability to set vision, direction, and culture for the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals, monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence, and holding the team accountable for meeting and exceeding performance targets.
- Drives the entire sales process of in the assigned geography; lead and assigns team responsibilities for opportunity qualification and development, solution architecting, customer reviews, issues handling, negotiations and deal closure.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develops Territory Plans and Account Acquisition Plans, working closely with industry experts, Solution Specialists including Marketing and incorporating the broader go-to-market plans.
- Analyze and report program performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement and new programs.
