EdiQue - Procurement Manager - IT Services (5-10 yrs)
Procurement Manager - IT Services
- The position is part of the BIU Procurement Unit and will support Pan India sourcing of IT products and services
- Role requires strong collaboration with the key stakeholders to understand their requirement, support in identifying suitable vendors, float enquiry , conduct negotiations and finalize rate contract with OEM
- Float the enquiry to the vendors and prepare comparisons.
- Help get market benchmarks and prepare approval notes.
- Abreast himself with vendor and product/ services information and understanding about the market scenario
- Respond to RFP documents, maintain records of the proposals / quotations, preparation of comparatives and recording savings
- Support discussion on contractual terms and finalization of various agreements related to the product and services sourced in consultation with the Business and Legal team
- Support BIU Team in responding Tender /RFP /eRFP on technical parameters prepare templates for technical and commercial evaluations, maintain records of proposals and record savings
What you should have :
- Technology savvy with good understanding and experience of IT Hardware
- Strong Procurement skills and experience in ICT - Purchase of Hardware, Software, Systems & Services.
- Ability to do Life Cycle costing ( TCO) for decision making
- Good understanding of supplier base and their management
Education & Work Experience :
- Engineering Graduate with 6-10 years of work experience
- At least 4-5 years of experience in IT Hardware sourcing and procurement
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Good communication skill and stakeholder management
- Good networking skills - Team Player & lead team
- System savvy - Able to work on SAP / Ariba / Oracle & Microsoft tools
