Roles & Responsibilities: - Conduct market research, competitive analysis and user research to determine product-market fit - Define the product strategy and roadmap; recommend the nature and scope of present and future state of the ML platform lines. - Contribute to the strategy and roadmap of ML initiatives at Edgeverve to help drive the most impact - Work with Data Scientists and engineers to collect requirements and iterate to ensure the tools we build fully address their needs; experience with Machine Learning algorithms a strong plus. - Define functional requirements, develop detailed product specifications, MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification and associated project work plans for AI/ Machine Learning features and key enhancements requests - Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and other stakeholders - Be an expert with respect to the competition; keep track of activities in the external ML community; point for core content to support product line communications alongside product marketing and marketing teams. - Support all project governance activities (project plans, weekly status reviews, cross-functional meetings, executive status reviews). - Supports pre-sales activities by responding to RFI and RFPs as needed - Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities - Effectively and proactively communicate with customers and build a trusted advisor relationship - Evangelize the products via presentations and demos of the product to internal and external stakeholders - Launch and market products by developing time-integrated plans with sales and marketing machinery. Requirements: - 4+ years of overall industry and 3+ years of product management experience - Proven ability of prioritizing well, communicating clearly and compellingly and understanding how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated engineering, UX and QA teams. - Proven ability of collaborating and influencing multiple cross-functional teams without formal authority and ability to manage ambiguity during product development cycle with exhibit of excellent judgment - Owned the roadmap for a B2B/enterprise software product/offering and has proven experience of requirements management and the change management processes - Familiarity with ML modeling workflows and basics of Data Science: feature selection and engineering, different ML model families, optimization considerations for ML models, deployment and serving challenges - Familiarity with modern machine learning algorithms, frameworks, libraries, and technologies, including, e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, Deep Learning, NLP, feature engineering, automated hyperparameter tuning, and conventional machine learning techniques and pipelines. - Knowledge of big data systems: Spark, Hadoop, Kubernetes etc. - Experience working in Lean/Agile software development and rapid iterative design and delivery of products is desirable; knows what "grooming the backlog" means because they've done it - BA/BS in technical and/or math field (science, engineering, or economics), some enterprise software development experience is plus. Strong business acumen - MBA or equivalent work experience preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Demonstrates creativity and self-sufficiency along with strong interpersonal/collaborative skills and experience working in global teams - Ability to multi-task and successfully execute projects under a heavy workload and changing conditions - Willingness and flexibility to travel locally & internationally
