EdgeVerve - Platform Council Specialist Role Characteristics : The role essentially has four key components : Strategic planning : - Being a catalyst in evolving EdgeVerve platform strategy to drive business growth and profitability - Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations to capitalize on current and emerging platform opportunities - Develop company wide platform policy recommendations - Working with various platform family leadership teams to recommend short-medium term roadmap, and associated goals Strategic execution : - Work with cross-functional team to evolve frameworks, processes, and measures, required to develop and scale platform initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop work plans for the selected initiatives - Facilitate timely focused investments business cases for selected initiatives Governance and recommending timely course corrections : - Review performance of various platform initiatives vis- -vis planned milestones to enable necessary course corrections - Review and evaluate key evolving markers for the business - Addressable market for present and future opportunities; Current and future strengths, weaknesses and risks; Competitor benchmarking in chosen platform spaces - Review business risk parameters in order to determine implications and implement measures for risk mitigation Role competence : - A mix of domain understanding, technology competency, business acumen, and strategic thinking skills - Experience of developing and driving SaaS or business platform initiatives - Strong leadership and communication skills- Ability to inspire a cross-functional group. Ability to articulate strategic options in a clear, insightful and convincing manner - Candidate should have Financial services background.
