Edelweiss Financial Services - Equity Research Associate - Banking/Construction/Power/Utilities & Midcap Sector (2-4 yrs)
Looking for Research Associates in the Equity space (Banking, Construction, Power, Utilities & Midcap Sectors)
This role would report to Lead Analyst
Job Purpose: Providing support to the Lead Analyst in Equity Research
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Seniors with Research report writing, research & financial analysis
- Interacting with Companies/Clients
- Responsible for timely release of company and industry updates
Functional Responsibilities
- Sectoral updation by sending news, event happenings, etc
- Strong presentation skills
- Maintenance of database and financial models
- Client Servicing which would involve preparing a file comparing / recommending a company vis-a-vis peers across various financial metrics or collate and share data as requested
Qualifications : MBA from a Premier Institute or (CA rankers/1st attempt)
Experience: (1-4) years in equity research
Functional Competencies
- Excellent MS Excel and Word skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- Understanding of capital markets in general and respective sector in particular
- Understanding of Macro environment, Indian economy
- Conversant with using Bloomberg, Capitaline
