Chairman's Office is a critical function within the Group. Within the same, this will be an important role and the incumbent will be a strategic thought partner to the Chairman and his EA. The ideal applicant should have experience in strategy, planning, financial & business analysis, project management across multiple functions in order to provide support and thought partnership to help advance the organization's priorities. Additionally, he/ she will be a strong problem solver with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) who can build relationships with a diverse set of individuals and organizations. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with exposure to corporate planning and business intelligence, strong project management skills, high emotional intelligence, self-motivation, integrity, willingness to put the Chairman's and the firm's interest above all else, absolute confidentiality where appropriate. Requisition Details : - Strategy Development: Strategic planning process, long-term trends and outlook, competitive intelligence. This will involve qualitative & quantitative analysis of financial services market trends, competitive landscape, and Edelweiss` product dynamics to highlight productivity improvements, growth opportunities and new markets. - Partner in thinking: Be the thinking partner to the Chairman. This will involve thinking through diverse strategic issues across businesses and functions - Research and Analysis: Analysis and presentation of relevant organization data, analysis of Business Plans and strategies; financial and marketing research. Providing solutions basis analysis of data and generations of reports and regular intervals. Compile information on industry trends; Track industry growth and conduct competitor analysis. Being able to provide an opinion and insight based on this research. - Internal and External Communication: Assist and formulate in creating collateral for both internal and external communication of the Chairman including but not limited to presentations, notes, etc - Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the Chairman's priorities. This responsibility involves elevating those issues about which the Chairman should be aware and framing/positioning ideas to resolve the problem/mitigate the risk. - Support the executive team's communications with the Chairman. Support the needs of the executive staff in their ability to raise critical issues with the Chairman and receive needed responses, guidance, and decisions.
