Job Purpose

Manage and mitigate financial (Market/Credit), Operational, Fraud and IT & Infosec risk of SBU

Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities :

- Setting Expectations from the team members and ensuring task given are completed on time

- Develop and nurture the team members

Functional Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain and update risk governance framework and policy

- Ensure adherence to framework and policy

- Identifying key and emerging risk areas ; evaluating and quantifying their potential impact

- Partner with internal business associates to develop plans to mitigate risk including operational error

- Communicate to risk committee within SBU and central risk team or GRC/IC regarding potential risk issues

- Periodic reporting through risk reports/mails/Dashboards

Job Requirements:

Qualifications : MBA

Experience: Min 10-15 yrs

Functional Competencies :

Ability to understand business and business issues

Ability to compare risk and reward

Clear and understandable communication with various stakeholders

Engage key stakeholders

Strong process orientation

Behavioral Competencies :

Should be able to work well with different functions and team within Edelweiss

Drive innovation and change

Provide guidance and advise to team members
