Economist - NBFC (4-6 yrs)
Looking to hire a Economist for an NBFC in Mumbai.
- An economist will join in-house Economic Research team and will report directly to Chief Economist.
- The successful candidate will assist team lead in developing forward-looking analytical economic frameworks with an emphasis on business cycle/trends and the resulting implications for credit quality.
- She/he is expected to help augment the companys existing process underpinning credit decisions including through working on enhancing existing and developing new value-added analytical frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Indian economy, credit cycle and linkages with the global economy and markets
- Strong quantitative skills with training and experience in using at least one statistical/econometric software such as EViews, STATA etc
- Sound familiarity with Indias macro data (sources, frequency, issues with data) including with CEIC data platform.
