Economist/Forex Researcher - BFS

Requirement: Macro economist with quantitative/analytical and statistical skills

Job description : 

- Deep understanding of India macro and market dynamics with knowledge of global macros and markets. The team's core strategies are meant for FX and rates segment of the markets.

- Looking for an economist with strong fundamental and quantitative, analytics & report writing skills.

- To qualify, you must have at least 3-5 years of solid macro and strategy research experience, with quantitative and analytical inclination.

- Knowledge of statistical packages, advanced excel and market databases needed as well. The person will report to the lead economist in the FX and rates team.

Job Purpose:

- Analyse & tracks Macroeconomic indicators for Indian economy and FX and rates segment and be able to independently come up with thematic

- Keep track of factors and macro indicators that would impact currencies globally

- Form periodic views on G4 Currencies + CNY + INR & interest rate cycles globally and develop strategies with respect to the same

- Detail research coverage of Global Central Banks, Monetary policies & political events

- Development of quant based trading and hedging strategies
