Criterion
- Post-graduate degree in Economics is required: a Ph.D. (preferred) with more than 5 years of relevant work experience of total experience of 10-12 years
- The selected candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a drive for results coupled with demonstrated problem solving and team working skills.
- The candidate should be able to deal sensitively in multicultural environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Scope of Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess reform developments in India and participate in the dialogue with government officials;
- Serve as a task leader or a team member for analytical and advisory products, including the Organisation’s knowledge agenda as well as knowledge outputs linked to the goals of ending poverty and boosting shared prosperity;
- Collect, analyze and maintain economic and financial data and information related to the Indian economy, and communicate findings in concise form, namely through statistical tables and charts, and short analytical notes. Develop, update and manage statistical models for specific programs or projects. Contribute chapters, sections, and annexes for reports and documents.
