eCommerce Operations Manager (6-15 yrs)

We are looking for an ECommerce Operations Manager for an exciting Fashion & Lifestyle Startup based at Mumbai (at Vikhroli West). This Fashion & lifestyle brand that will have Apparel, Footwear & Accessory products available online and in MBO, Own store & Franchise outlets within India & abroad.

BRAND & PRODUCT LAUNCH: April 2023.

The E-Commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for the proper daily execution of the company's E-Commerce Operations internally and externally and will be responsible for P&L of our e-commerce business, by improving the workflow to drive operational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implementing / enhancing an operating model for the e-Commerce Operations

- Take full ownership of business targets & P&L for E-Commerce business

- Developing detailed processes, quality controls, and KPI for a seamless integration of executing a Direct Vendor Fulfilment program

- Working with internal customers to ensure pricing is accurately maintained within customer's systems

- Managing forecasts and seasonality to ensure proper processes are being followed for inventory / material planning

- Daily reporting for internal/external customers for performance and order management

- Operational responsibility for ensuring pricing and supply

- Performance Management of the team by setting particular objectives, carrying out performance analysis, and identifying and recommending training needs

- Order management, Logistics, Support, Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency

- Working knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems preferred. Direct experience managing e-Commerce Operations from online readiness to post purchase support including a working knowledge of marketplace and direct e-Commerce processes and technologies done in proven E-commerce companies

- Proven ability to automate processes and create efficiency

ROLE INCLUDES:

- Interaction with E Commerce Platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Tata Cliq etc.

- Getting the products listed on the respective platforms and all the associated activities like upload of photos and rates etc.

- Identifying and empaneling sellers

- Running sales promotions on the platforms.

- Interfacing with the agency for creative design, catalogues and product shots

- Ensuring smooth order deliveries through Internal Coordination for Stocks going to sellers.

- Ensuring monthly agreed business targets are met.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION / JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing E-Commerce sales channel, this role will need to work with internal teams to maximize the online sales channel and deliver a fluid process for customers. Success will be defined by how well the E-commerce manager develops and cross-functionally executes comprehensive E-commerce plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Work with Leadership team to deliver sales targets

- Own e-commerce revenue targets and work towards realizing them

- Develop high performance distribution channel to support E Commerce business objectives and activities

- Accountable for traffic, conversion, product sales and other web KPIs

- Establish B2B, B2C online shop and communication strategy (email, social media, and other channels)

- Work with client engagement managers to create B2C communication promotional plans

- Improve online shop, and e-commerce functionalities

- Lead analytics team to come with insights around ecommerce business

- Manage vendors who provide e-commerce services such as email provider, personalization engine etc.

- Improve member engagement by optimizing UX and Campaigns using tools

- Leverage tools like Google Analytics, QlikView for web analytics, data visualization personalization

- Advise clients for improving e-commerce KPIs and creating deeper member engagement for continued business growth

- Support Ecommerce Sales with the capture and reporting of KPIs, such conversion rate, page views, and time-on-site

- Develop and maintain a predictable forecasting model

- Collaborate with Marketing team to execute online promotions and strategies

- Delivery on acceptable churn rates and new customer acquisition

- Market research and analysis.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION - Bachelor or Masters degree ideally in business, marketing, or e-commerce

PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

- Atleast 4 - 8 years of professional work experience working in B2C e-commerce, Logistics, Replenishment Supply Chain

- Account management experience or skills

- Experience in website and online shop management as well as email marketing

- Strong analytical and reporting skills, along with experience in tools such as Google Analytics.

- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts

- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

- Aid in significantly shaping an e-commerce strategy that is exclusive for each prospect

- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
