eCommerce Head - Beauty Retail Business (5-18 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce professional with a background in beauty retail to join our team.
As an idol Ecom person you will be specializes in managing and promoting online stores or e-commerce websites.
Their main role will be to drive sales and revenue growth through various digital marketing techniques, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
Also creating and executing the e-commerce strategy, overseeing the development and maintenance of the website, analyzing and interpreting customer data, and identifying and implementing improvements to the overall customer experience.
CTC: 70L to 1Cr
As the E-commerce Head for our Beauty/Makeup Brand, you will be responsible for driving the online sales and overall digital presence of our brand. You will lead the strategy, development, and execution of our e-commerce initiatives, aiming to enhance the customer experience, increase sales, and strengthen our brand's online identity in the competitive beauty industry.
1. E-commerce Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the brand's goals and objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and competitiveness.
- Define target audiences, online market segments, and customer personas to tailor marketing efforts effectively.
2. Website Management:
- Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the brand's e-commerce website, ensuring it reflects the brand's aesthetic and values.
- Collaborate with the web development team to optimize website performance, navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
- Monitor and improve site speed, security, and overall functionality.
3. Online Merchandising:
- Plan and execute product assortment strategies to maximize online sales and customer engagement.
- Coordinate with the marketing and creative teams to create visually appealing and informative product listings.
- Implement effective cross-selling and upselling techniques to enhance the average transaction value.
4. Customer Experience:
- Ensure a seamless and enjoyable online shopping experience by optimizing the checkout process, navigation, and customer service.
- Collect and analyse customer feedback, reviews, and data to make informed decisions on improving user experience.
5. Digital Marketing:
- Develop and oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotions that resonate with the brand's target audience.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce sales, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to the leadership team, along with actionable recommendations for improvement.
7. Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of e-commerce professionals, including marketers, analysts, and customer service representatives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages skill development and high-performance outcomes.
8. Inventory Management and Logistics:
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfilment.
- Streamline shipping and return processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful e-commerce leadership within the beauty/makeup industry.
- In-depth understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online consumer behaviour.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools, content management systems, and e-commerce platforms
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and beauty/makeup.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis related to e-commerce operations.
