The Head of Commerce will drive the P&L for Commerce as a business vertical. The role will include managing merchandising, customer & vendor service, growth and marketing, and building a rock-solid team to deliver results Category Management: - Work with merchandising team to build a differentiated catalogue of fashion and accessories for men and women, home decor, skin care & beauty and other identified lifestyle categories - Deliver on product volume and merchant volume targets Customer & Vendor Service: - Manage the customer and vendor service teams - Enable setting up and following through on processes that deliver on an efficient and amiable customer and vendor experience - Ensure timely fulfillment of orders, payments of vendors Product Pricing & Strategy: - Work with Marketing and product team on strategy to drive growth in no. of orders and GMV Merchandising, Planning & Growth: - Using historical data, industry benchmarks and company objectives to set, plan and deliver on key metrics for commerce. - Determine and articulately define targets, and empower teams with resources, skills and know-how to deliver on them Leadership & Team Management: - Hire, grow, develop and retain talent for Commerce - Work collaboratively with support functions and verticals
