Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- 8 - 10 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer

- 2 - 3 years of experience as a Software Development Manager

- Strong technical credentials, with expertise in OOP, Java or Python

- Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and- object-oriented- design-

- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka, data streaming technologies, Apache Spark, Elastic Search, Redis, etc

- Knowledge of Object storage, Hadoop, Hudi, Hive, Airflow, and big data technologies is a plus.

- Experience working on software-as-a-service (SaaS), large scale distributed systems and relational/No-SQL databases.

- Excellent knowledge of Microservices Architecture and implementation.

- Breadth and depth of experience building and managing software systems and teams

- Experience working within an Agile environment, and with Agile Management tools such as JIRA.

- A Customer focused innovation mindset

- Proven track record of hiring and managing high performing engineering teams

Responsibilities:

- Manage and develop a team of software engineers to design and build scalable and flexible service-oriented solutions

- Work closely with product, design, business development and other internal stakeholders to define team's strategy, create a roadmap and prioritize projects

- Plan, organize, and complete work within agile sprints

- Hands-on experience with design and development of highly scalable web services and systems

- Grow and nourish a culture that values openness, inclusiveness, respect, quality, robustness, scalability, and humility while fostering innovation

- Create and establish processes to optimize delivery while achieving business goals and motivating high-performance standards for quality assurance, and release management.

- Partner with all functions across the company to address technology needs and elevate productivity
