Business Analyst - eBay India (AWF)

Purpose of the Role :

eBay India is looking for a business analyst to work in the analytics function to take on the challenging responsibilities of both working strategically in contributing to business outcomes and also handle data and analytics processes seamlessly.

Responsibilities :

A successful candidate should be able to :

- Conduct analysis of both high-level and granular Ad-hoc business trends using SQL, Excel and other tools

- Structure and refine analyses with the goal of distilling insights from the data; Build and manage data cubes for easier data retrieval for various teams

- Partner with the Business teams to evaluate various business cases; present analytical findings to senior management in order to guide decisions

- Should identify current process gaps and work on improving efficiencies

- Monitor different performance KPIs for weekly/monthly reviews and publish reports with recommendations

- Understand and communicate the impact of short and long term projects with various stakeholders

Qualifications :

- 2-5 years of relevant experience

- Essential skills : SQL, Excel

- Preferred skills: Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau/QlikView; Advanced analytical tools such as SAS and R

- Business understanding and business partnering skills. Strong communication skills, ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders

- Strong inter-personal skills, as the role is both data- and people-intensive; self-starter approach needed.

- High energy individual with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.
