Competency Overview: Finance Effectiveness

The Finance Effectiveness team works closely with client and project teams in the US to help CFOs and their finance organizations identify, design and implement programs that transform their finance functions to meet todays demanding requirements while continuing to provide valuable insights to the business.

A career in our Corporate Finance and Treasury practice, within the Finance Effectiveness team, will provide the opportunity to work alongside CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers to optimise the structure of their finance functions and improve their contribution to the business. We support our clients by addressing the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of control, efficient back office opportunities and support to the business through insight and challenge.

Our team helps our clients maximise their available liquidity position and manage financial risk, such as foreign exchange rates, interest rate changes, and commodity price fluctuations, as well as make decisions around funding the core business operations and making investments to increase the value of the organisation to the shareholders.

Position Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

As a team member, you will work with the US project team on engagements that may involve (but not limited to):

Treasury:

- Treasury management systems (TMS) RFP & selection process

- End-to-end TMS implementation / reimplementation lifecycle support

- Implementation of in-house bank using TMS as the enabling technology

- Implementation of payment factory using TMS as the enabling technology

- Treasury process optimization using functionalities of TMS and/or other bespoke systems

- Provide product support services for clients TMS

Others: Provide proposal support for business development, drive business development activities such as creation of conference materials, and contribute to thought leadership and whitepapers

Knowledge Required:

Candidates should demonstrate proven knowledge and success in:

- Advising global organizations on improving efficiency and effectiveness in Treasury

- TMS selection, implementation, and optimization: Quantum, Kyriba, SAP Treasury, Reval, Trax, GTreasury or Integrity. Have hands-on experience with implementation activities, including: requirements gathering and documentation, system design, hands-on configuration and unit testing, developing test cases and scripts, support test execution and results documentation, data migration and reconciliation, hypercare, product support, etc.

- Being in a client facing Treasury consulting role or combination of hybrid Treasury consulting & Treasury industry experience

- Treasury processes (e.g., cash management, financial instruments, FX and counterparty risk management, bank account management, etc.) and transaction processing, cash flow forecasting, and internal and external reporting
