Position: VP - Finance Description: VP Finance, is a leadership role and will be responsible for driving business growth by building strong financial systems, raising funds and providing strategic financial inputs. The VP will be a part of the core management team and will report to the CEO. The role is meant for those who have strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for excellence. The candidate should have good experience on fund raising across both debt and equity in his past organizations. Key Job Responsibilities: I. Fund raising and investor relations - Drive the fund raising process for both debt and equity - Secure debt for the company by liasioning with financial institutions including banks, NBFCs - Maintain outstanding banking relationships - Engage finance committee and/or board of directors/ investment committee through regular reports, updates and in development of short term and long term plans, projections and budgets. II. Financial Planning &amp; Reporting - Prepare and present timely monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget and cash flow by division - Review and analyse monthly financial results and provide recommendations - Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings - Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget. III. Financial Management - Manage working capital, cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability - Oversee cash and asset management area. - Maintain strategic alliances with vendors and business partners - Manage accounts receivables and drive rigorous collections efficiency - Analyse various cost centres and optimize overheads IV. Accounting operations, controls &amp; Compliances - Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software - Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff - Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and central tax returns - Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation - Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems - Ensure authenticity of the financial reports by periodic internal and external audit mechanisms Location: Hyderabad Qualification: - MBA in finance from a leading B School or CA mandatory Experience: - 10+ years of total experience in finance - Strong experience in Equity fund raising - Experience in start-ups will be preferred - Automobile/Automotive experience is desirable Capabilities - Business Acumen - Financial management - Strategic mindset - Fund raising - Leadership skills - Stakeholder management - Problem solving - Agility &amp; flexibility Compensation: - The final compensation shall be based on candidate's potential, experience &amp; background
