Job Description / Responsibilities :

We have multiple opportunities for Data Engineers in DvSum. Position will be decided based on experience level of candidate.

This role will be the consultant or engineer on any DvSum engagement, internal or external. This role will design and develop the solution required for the project.

- Work on a multi-year complex data management program for multi-billion dollar customer

- Work on customer projects related to data migration, data warehousing, data integration, data cleansing, advanced analytics, digital transformation

- Conduct or participate in customer data assessments

- Conduct quality audits, structured and unstructured data cleansing to support advanced analytics and business operations

- Develop and set up data pipelines for customer data migration projects

- Execution of data pipelines, perform QA, project documentation for project deliverables

- Participate and contribute in project meetings

For senior roles (in addition to above): -

- Preference to have hands-on experience working on multiple projects involving cloud technologies

- Lead customer projects, possess excellent communication skills

- Provide technical guidance to junior resources

Required Skill Set

- Project experience in Data Management, Data Migration or Data Warehousing areas

- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL

- Experience in ETL: 1 or more of SSIS, Informatica, Talend

- Experience in data manipulation using Python or equivalent toolset

- Proficient in using Excel

- Skills across one or more of following legacy databases

Legacy data bases: 1 or more of Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata

Skills across following preferred :

Data Programming: 1 or more of Azure functions, Lambda, Spark

Data Visualization: 1 or more of Excel charts, PowerBI, Tableau

Software Programming: .NET or Java

For senior roles - combination of skills across following Cloud computing domains (at least one must have)

NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra

Cloud datastores: 1 or more of Azure Blob, AWS S3, Azure SQL, Azure DW, Snowflake, Redshift, Dynamo DB

Data Pipelines: 1 or more of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Flow, Amazon Glue

Developing Rest APIs and applications on Cloud

Preferred (good to have):

- Experience with data pipeline or data engineering for Big Data Analytics. (Hadoop, Spark, Data Bricks)

- Passion and knowledge of trending emerging data related technologies in the enterprise related to data management, analytics

Qualifications & Desired Profile :

- 3 - 12 years- experience

- Minimum qualification Bachelor of Engineering or MCA

- Domain experience in Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing

- Project experience in Data Management, Data Migration or Data Warehousing function

- Dynamic, confident personality, quick learner, with the ability to successfully execute based on guidance and multiple priorities

- Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication skills both written and oral

- Ability to join in 30 days (preferred)

- Open to Bangalore relocation. Currently WFH allowed
