DVP/VP_ Operations


- Only candidates working with banks/listed NBFC's will be considered for this role.


- The role will provide day to day leadership, oversight and execution of the business plan to ensure alignment and support of FCPS operations goals.

- The role will also lead the business management and operations responsibility for all aspects of assigned functions, product as well as oversee the efficiency, resource allocation and effectiveness by directing the actions and activities that enable the sites to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Responsible for the overall management, coordination and maintenance of one of the major segment of the operations activities

- Assist in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of operations policies

- Direct the study and establishment of new and revised systems, procedures, methods, and forms

- Accountable for budget management

- May be responsible for cross-site / function project leadership

- Has the ability to influence across department / site

- Have impact on the Bank's earnings, operation or image and a major impact on the functional area.

- Ensure assigned area(s) are adequately staffed and all personnel are trained and developed

- Work with peers throughout the Bank to develop, enhance and implement business strategies

- Build external relationships in functional area

Qualifications:

Requirements for this position include the following:

- Minimum 5 years' experience managing people required for the role

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities, high attention to detail

- Possess a controls mindset; understand banking regulations

- Experience planning and managing networking event or projects

- Superior multitasking, project management and presentation skills coupled with business acumen

- Prior experience handling sensitive/confidential information

- Able to tell a story with data and metrics

- Strong time management skills, and the ability to consistently prioritize and re-prioritize
