Job Description

Job Title DVP, FX & Derivative Sales (North Region)

Department Financial Markets (Treasury)

Location New Delhi

Reporting To Zonal Head - FX & Derivative Sales

Position:

The concerned role is responsible for a frontline sales position in treasury, advising Plain Vanilla FX and derivative products to the client segments across north region. Client segments include Corporate & Institutional Banking, Commercial Banking, MNC and Financial & Govt. Undertakings.

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

- As a team member, one has to provide Foreign Exchange & Derivative services to various client segments including CIB, CB, MNC, FIGU.

- Scope new leads for business teams.

- Accountable for delivering defined budgeted numbers from the business for the region.

- Liaison with other regional heads to scope market & play key role in identifying new business opportunities/products in the market.

- Constantly have market intelligence on accounts, activity from competition.

- Maintain strong relation with clients to maximum business through bank.

2. Advisory and Servicing

- Advising clients on FX & Interest rate exposures via various products as allowed by regulator.

- Ensuring that maximum - FX Flows- are captured including trade and non-trade transactions.

- Structuring Short term/Long Term Foreign Currency loans (WCFC/FCTL)

- Pricing and advising structured trades like Vanilla options, Cost reduction structures, Swaps.

- Ensuring that all Mark to Market positions are reported to clients on periodic basis.

- Strong documentation control including ISDA, Deal Confirmations and Underlying's.

- Ensuring strict compliance by adhering to RBI guidelines and internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement :

Qualifications :

- Essential PG (MBA /CA/CFA)

- Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in relevant domain

Skill Attribute

- Candidate should have strong expertise in FX and Derivatives products and related regulations.

- Candidate needs to have good communication skills, relationship building experience.

- High enthusiasm, resilience, energy levels, drives to ideate, collaborate with partnering arms (Business Team).

- Demonstrate thought leadership. Ability to create longer term, content trust and advisory based relationships will all the customers in the portfolio.

- Strongly networked with existing relationships and prospective corporate clients will be a plus point.

- Strong Analytical Skill.
