Job Description :
- Compliance Officer for the IBU
- Well versed with RBI and IFSCA regulations is a mandatory requirement
- Regulatory filings, interaction with the IFSCA authority, understanding the regulatory requirements and dissemination of IFSCA circulars, tracking IFSCA circular implementation.
- Working in IBU with any bank will be a value addition
- Compliance Advisory - Trade FEMA, Treasury & IBU
- Assist Products, Operations and Business Teams in resolving queries pertaining to permissibility of proposed transaction/structure under FEMA (Capital & Current account transactions), Treasury and IBU regulations perspective.
- Dissemination of RBI / IFSCA regulations/guidelines relating to FEMA / Treasury / IBU and ensuring the same is implemented across the Bank
- Perusal of Bank's internal policies and process documents to ensure compliance with FEMA / IFSCA / Treasury / IBU / FEDAI guidelines/regulations on an ongoing basis
- Draft/Assist in vetting of letters and emails sent to RBI / IFSCA and any other regulator
- Liaise with the officials at RBI, FEDAI and FIMMDA, as and when required
- Handle Risk Based Supervision points from RBI pertaining to FEMA / Treasury regulations perspective.
- Assist Senior Management Compliance in managing affairs of FEMA / Trade Finance / Treasury Compliance Function
- Undertake monitoring / testing of FEMA & Trade Finance related transactions
