Technical Skills: Hands on experience on SQL & PL/SQL Skills Sets Required: - Team leading and mentoring experience - Exposure to Analytical tools and techniques - Hands on experience on SAS and Analytical tools - Hands on experience on SQL & PL/SQL - Preferably Quality Green Belt Must have Qualification: - Graduate/Preferably Post Graduate in Management discipline from a reputed and recognized institute/University. - Relevant Experience in a field - 10 to 12 years of relevant industry / function exposure; Banking / NBFCs / BPO, With Minimum 5 yrs in Card Industry - Team leading experience of minimum 7 years - Strategy Development & Deployment - (Wt. 30%) - Build / modify Collections strategies in line with trends to drive performance / productivity to ensure business meets the targets assigned. - Develop cost optimal treatment optimization strategies for field / tele-calling / Dialer - Build framework for strategy development and monitoring - Evaluate IT infrastructure and suggest ways for effective implementation of Collection Strategies for business betterment - Build & refine Tableau to encompass key collections KPIs & other metrics like billing/settlement etc. Additionally ensuring complete migration of key reports to Tableau. - Coordination across Strategy / Channel Leads / Teams to ensure effective implementation of initiatives / strategies. - Bring best in class / competitive strategies & plug optimal ones into business for optimization - Secondary research on prevalent practices and procedures in collections domain. - Develop Propensity to pay model in pre-charge off to further optimize the existing calling / field referral strategies to maximize yield - Development of recovery scorecard for optimal utilization of channels. - Actively involve & initiate dialogue with Risk team during planning submission & submit key inferences with changes suggested Portfolio Diagnostics; (Wt. 30%): - Measure & Monitor Flow rates / Delinquency / Loss of the portfolio & come up with recommendations to improve basis clearly laid down collection strategies. - Design Dashboards across level with deep insights @ operating as well as leadership level, meeting specific needs for all users. - Prepare Gap Analysis for key collection metrics in comparison to plan figures and come up with mitigation plan for potential/observed gaps. - Build Recovery KPIs in sync with Industry for deeper portfolio insight - Pre-X bucket has been volatile with limited insight to team Cx, do a deep dive & draw intelligence to bring consistency - Vintage Analysis for Recovery to improve ROR across vintages as per plan Stakeholder Management; (Wt. 20%): - Interact with stakeholders; operating teams, on regular basis to ensure accurate & timely implementation of strategies and collection policies. - Work closely with Risk team to draft / finalize the collections strategies / policies - Manage communication with Key stakeholders and different functions - Conceptualizing & designing of reporting framework for reviews with Collections Head. People Management; (Wt. 20%): - Give insight on team goals and set realistic goals for each team member. - Work closely with hiring team for closure of open position/s. - Train new team members on databases and business. - Manage attrition by providing opportunities to team member within or outside the team/function. - Timely and comprehensive feedback to team members and mentor to improve area of concern/opportunity. And, recommend for relevant trainings. - Measures of Success(Define the Outcomes expected of the role) - Strategy Development & Implementation; Call center productivity enhancement by XX% ( Both Pre &Post Charge Off). Collection Efficiency improvements over previous year and plan and Losses vis- vis plan. Drive Excalibur automation to seamlessly allocate portfolio in pre and post charge off . - Develop "Recovery Scorecard" for better intelligence on recovery segmentation and effective placement strategies. Develop "Propensity to Pay model in pre charge off for complete automation in allocation. - Portfolio Diagnostics; Sharpen the management dashboards and build cross functional reviews and feedback mechanism. Quarterly comprehensive portfolio report and action items and taking them to closure. Periodic Collections advisory to the management on portfolio health and challenges
