Designation - Executive –Market Analyst   SBU - Crop Protection   Location - Gurgaon   Reporting to - Marketing Director  Direct Reports - None (Individual Contributor role)  Primary Role:   1. Lead the Market Intelligence role for the organization as a central source for of data and insights across the agricultural industry and the crop-protection market  2. Responsible for marketing inputs management in the Annual plan and 5 year plan process  Broad Job Description:  - Build and update the Central data by segment, crop and territory liaising with field teams, and as well as through external data sources  - Collect, process, analyze and capture data in various databases independently  - Identifying emerging growth trends and opportunities across various dimensions including: economic, technological, competitive, partnerships, customer value attributes etc.  - Analyzing the competitive landscape and assessing the marketplace to track trends in crops and pests across seasons, and share with business teams as key indicators  - Identifying critical intelligence topics, investigating relevant market research, and communicating significant market insights and implications  - Providing critical insights to the business by converting the vast amounts of available data, in multiple internal and external databases, into actionable information.  - Ownership for inputting comprehensive marketing related information in to country PO's, 5 year plans and PO execution strategy templates on a routine basis.  - Develop and implement process for tracking price movements for various brands (own and competition) on a quarterly basis, to facilitate pricing decisions   - Closely working with the marketing group for collection, processing and disciplined reporting of data as required on a going basis.  Education Qualification & Years of Experience:   Education: MBA or equivalent in a related Agricultural field   Experience:   - Min. 2-3 experience in Sales / Marketing   - Experience in Agricultural industry desirable   - Experience in a similar role desirable  Key Competencies (Essential & Desirable):   Functional Competencies   (Could be segmentation, Pricing, Domain knowledge – please mention etc. Please list down which ever you think necessary) And categories them as E – Essential / D – Desirable   Must have:  1.
