PR Manager About the role: The PR Manager will be anything but conventional, she/he will love to tell stories in a quirky and unconventional manner, will be crazy and creative and know how to use pop culture references to build exciting storylines that engage audiences through corporate and consumer PR efforts. While the conventional PR activities will continue as a given, the PR manager needs to know how to grab attention in this information overload era. We strive as a team to take a different path to build stories and campaigns that focus on customers as our only audience. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - This will be an individual contributor role and will be responsible for ensuring all execution happens on time - Developing PR campaigns and content around strategic launches and initiatives - Designing and driving positive brand positioning while working with external agencies - Creating new and fostering existing relationships with external stakeholders who take an interest in Dunzo's story and journey (media, influencers, etc.) - Ability to use data to build strong PR narratives, and capture marketing opportunities - Supporting the internal communications team in fostering transparency, trust, and pride within the organization through strategic communication and employer branding initiatives - Monitoring and measuring the impact of PR campaigns through input and output metrics aligned with the goals of the organization - Managing stakeholders and communication during a crisis and be able to communicate effectively to those affected - Leveraging both owned and earned media to drive Dunzo's mission and message forward including platforms like LinkedIn and Medium. An ideal candidate will have: - Strong media relations within retail, start up and ED&I space - Excellent written and verbal skills in English - 5-7 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate and Executive Communications, and/or Journalism - A mix of brand and agency experience - Knowledge of working with owned and earned media - Experience in working with international PR agencies and/or brands - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field - Significant experience working in the e-commerce and technology sector
