Regional Sales Manager:

Job Responsibilities

- Drive FMCG Sales - Week on Week, Month on Month and Quarter on Quarter.

- Develop Sales plans and budgets to achieve and exceed the quarter & annual sales objectives for the region.

- Manage relationship with our Sales Team at the regional level.

- Drive separate sales quota for direct channels like DSA / Distributors

- Design and implement sales schemes

- Conduct regular market visits to check coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities

- Provide DSAs, Distributors and SS's the market insights and strategy to improve sales

- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company's product and services across the region

- Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish sales targets

- Develop & Implement forecasting process and ensure highest level of accuracy on a weekly basis

- Coordinate and follow up with the supply chain team to ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained for the Region in order to meet the sales delivery schedules and provide the distributors with superior levels of service and meet the needs of the customer.

- Review & Mentor - Ensure the right people are on the team. Provide leadership so that members are well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organization

You will be an ideal fit to the team if you:

- Are commercially strong & have the ability to drive a large channel team and keep them motivated to achieve their goals consistently

- Ability to build high performance and aligned partnerships

- Prefer to be in the market with partners and distributors instead of being in the office

- Are one who believes that FMCG sales is an hourly business and one hour lost can't be gained back and hence drives the business on an hourly basis

In addition here is what we need you to have:

- Geographical knowledge with market working knowledge up to 1 lakh population towns

- Ability to bench mark channel ROI across categories .

- 9+ years of Sales Experience including 5+ years of demonstrated track record of field sales, preferably in FMCG industry

Key Skills:

- Leadership skills

- Relationship skills - You will need to manage relationship with senior members of our Company partners

- Sound knowledge of sales and sales administration processes

- Strong communication skills

Experience: 10-16 years (Post Qualification) in FMCG Industrial Environment

Educational Qualification: MBA in- Sales|Marketing.
